Saturday, April 24, 8pm -- MPT Night at the MSO, MasterWorks V Concert: Magnificent Mahler at the Historic Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown. The season comes to a magnificent climax with Mahler's Symphony No. 5 in C-sharp, the MSO's first performance of this masterpiece. Concertmaster Robert Martin is a soloist in one of the most heavenly, celestial pieces written for the violin, Beethoven's Romance No. 2 in F. The evening includes Weber's Overture to Euryanthe.
